Warren Carter is a lecturer and staff tutor in the history of art department and his teaching specialism is in twentieth century modernism with an emphasis on public art in teh Ameicas. He is also interested in the methodologies of art history and both of these themes come together in the chapter on ‘Mexican muralism reconsidered’ in Book 4 of A344 Art and its global histories, the module which he chairs. He also contributed a unit to A112 Cultures on 'Art against power: satire and propaganda' and is also chair of A236 with a chapter on 'Modern art and the metropolis'.

Wendy Chalmers has worked at the OU Library for several years and is currently a Learning and Teaching Librarian. She contributes to new modules in FASS and WELSas well as delivering online tutorials.  She has an interest in digital skills and promoting the exciting range of materials available within the online library.

Dr Wendy Turner is Associate Head of School (Curriculum) in the School of Health, Wellbeing and Social Care. She is a registered nurse for Children and Young People and Learning Disabilities, and her practice included working across health, education and social care with children, young people and families in areas such as disability, palliative care and youth justice. In HE, Wendy has written curriculum in social care, health, nursing, wellbeing, education, youth work and youth justice for both professional and non-professional programmes. Wendy believes in tackling social inequalities through education and knowledge, and sees practice-based education, research and learning as a way to achieve this. Wendy’s research includes health, development and well-being, education and social care for children, young people and those with learning and other disabilities.

Wilfred S. Manuela Jr.

Wilfred S. Manuela Jr. is an associate professor at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati City, the financial centre of Metro Manila and the Philippines. Wilfred is involved in the design and delivery of economics and finance courses for graduate degree programs at AIM.

He teaches business economics and corporate finance. His main research interests include the air transport industry, imperfect competition and market power, and mergers and acquisitions. Wilfred received his PhD in Business Administration from the Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business of the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He has taught management courses for more than ten years at AIM, the University of the Philippines, and Ateneo de Manila University. Wilfred is the managing editor of the Journal of Management for Global Sustainability and has published in journals indexed and abstracted in the Social Sciences Citation Index® and Scopus®.

Will Murcott is a mental health nurse and central academic with The Open University. The focus of Will’s clinical work has been with children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health. He has worked with young people in hospital and community settings in several regions across the country and internationally, leading in the development of children and young people's mental health services for Her Majesty's Armed Forces.

Will has a keen interest in teaching and ensuring the quality of nurse education, and has worked as a nurse lecturer and programme lead at other HEIs. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Will’s research focus is on youth and young people and their experiences of mental health services, and he is researching the development and impact of youth mental health services from a nursing perspective.

William Brown

William Brown is Senior Lecturer in Government and Politics at the Open University. His research is in the field of International Relations with a particular focus on Africa, and on the international politics of development aid. Recent work focuses on uneven and combined development and on UK Labour Party international development policy. He has worked on many OU modules including chairing the making of DD313 International Relations: continuity and change in global politics
