Introduction to Arts and Humanities - 4th October 2021

We will hear from the chairs of three Level 1 modules: Richard, for A111 Discovering the arts and humanities, E-J, for A112 Cultures, and Neil, for A113 Revolutions. We will also hear from Clare, the Deputy Director of Teaching for the School, about how to take your study forward after Level 1.

Clare Spencer has been an Associate Lecturer in Arts and Humanities with the OU for more than thirty years, and is now a Staff Tutor and Deputy Director of Teaching for the School.
Emma-Jayne (E-J) Graham is Senior Lecturer in Classical Studies at the Open University. She is an archaeologist whose research focuses largely on Roman Italy, with a particular interest in material culture and the human body.
Karen Foley is a lecturer at The Open University and oversees Student Hub Live, The Open University’s live online interactive platform to facilitate academic community. Chair of Y032 People, Work and Society, Karen is involved in the Open and Access programmes.
Dr Neil Younger is a lecturer in history at the Open University.
