Developing your critical thinking and writing (intermediate/advanced) – 23 March 2021

This workshop builds on the introductory workshop and is aimed mainly at Level 2 and 3 students. We will take a deeper look at critically analysing source material and identifying the most important elements for any argument or answer.  The focus is on being critical in context, evaluating different approaches and being able to put them in perspective. 

Please note that this workshop is scheduled to start at 12:00pm and will last 60 minutes. You will need to book a free ticket to attend this Adobe Connect Online Room event, tickets will become available about 2-3 weeks in advance of the workshop.

Karen Foley is a lecturer at The Open University and oversees Student Hub Live, The Open University’s live online interactive platform to facilitate academic community. Chair of Y032 People, Work and Society, Karen is involved in the Open and Access programmes.
