Hannah began her journey with the Open University as a student in 2000, before completing her undergraduate degree in Law at the University of Leicester. Being awarded the Jules Thorn Scholarship from the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, Hannah completed the Bar Vocational Course at Nottingham Law School, and is a qualified non-practising barrister.  Hannah has combined being an AL tutoring Level 1 Law modules since 2010 with being a lecturer and Head of Law, Business and Public Services in various FE institutions having also completed the PGCE, NPQML and NPQSL, and is now a Student Experience Manager in FBL alongside her AL work. Hannah has experience in managing and founding various voluntary organisations in her native Scotland, and completed both middle and senior leadership qualifications.

Born and raised in Glasgow, Hannah now lives in the midlands with her husband, two young daughters, and four-month-old puppy. She enjoys running, cooking and painting canal art, and spending time at the coast. Committed to doing all she can to support others as they progress with their own academic journeys, Hannah is delighted to be involved with Student Hub Live.
