Tazzy has been a student with the Open University since 2021 working part-time towards a BA (Honours) English Literature and Creative Writing. She has just completed A112 ‘Cultures’ which was an enjoyable challenge and is now enrolled on A215 Creative Writing. Alongside her OU studies Tazzy is also learning Welsh. Combining her love for writing and the Welsh Language Tazzy plans to write a series of children’s books in Welsh for 2nd language learners. With a story about a hermit crab already in the making.
Tazzy attends as many SHL events as she can, not just for the learning experience but also for the social aspect of being a distance learner.
In her spare time Tazzy can be found either at her drum kit, volunteering in a charity shop, (which also gives her the opportunity to speak Welsh), reading, writing or cwtched up with her 12-year-old puppy Ty, playing with her 4 month old kitten Tanwen or her 3 legged dwarf hamster Argo.
