Kanta Temba

Kanta is a Recruitment & Retention lead, currently excelling in her role while simultaneously pursuing a BSc (Honours) in Health Sciences with the Open University. Despite the demanding nature of balancing full-time work and rigorous studies, Kanta has been thriving and finding joy in every challenge. Her dedication to her education has significantly bolstered her confidence, proving to herself and others that she can achieve anything she sets her mind to.

Before embarking on her current academic journey, Kanta studied Biomedical Science. This solid foundation in science laid the groundwork and sparked her passion for health sciences; setting the stage for her current educational pursuits.  Kanta also embraced her entrepreneurial spirit by starting a cake business, which she successfully ran part-time for several years. Her passion for creating delightful confections allowed her to explore her creative side and manage a thriving small business.

Kanta's adventurous spirit extends beyond her professional and academic endeavours. She loves to travel, immersing herself in different cultures and cuisines. Her love for exploration once led her to live abroad for a year, an experience that enriched her perspective and deepened her appreciation for the world's diversity. In her leisure time, Kanta enjoys long walks in nature, watching movies, reading books, attending concerts, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.
