Heidi Daniels

Heidi studied one step at a time with the OU. She completed a certificate, then a diploma and finally a BA (Hons) in Business Studies with French. Having left school with virtually no qualifications, the idea of doing a degree initially felt too scary. But she started with one course, and gradually caught the study bug!  

Heidi didn’t study for a definite career goal, but she says her work colleagues and customers noticed a real change in her. Her studies made her feel more confident and capable of taking new things on, and she’s still feeling the benefits in her work now.  

Heidi loved the camaraderie and support from other students, but the real highlight was her degree ceremony. Her graduation day, attended by her proud parents, made it all worthwhile.
