I joined the OU as an Associate Lecturer more than 20 years ago, a few days after my first daughter was born. Before that I worked in a London teaching hospital, researching in areas such as dyslexia and – contrastingly - psychological aspects of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis.
My time at the OU has been spent teaching (as well as exam and EMA marking) on various level 2 and 3 psychology modules and I’ve also completed a Masters in Science with the OU. In my spare time I sing in a very disorderly village choir, walk a lot and make embarrassingly slow progress in learning German.
