In this session, Leigh Fowkes – Careers and Employability Consultant – and Ben Oakley – Professor in Sports Performance Education – will talk you through what to consider if you are thinking of a career in teaching, as well as recommending key resources along the way. Education is not just about becoming a teacher, so we’ll also cover some alternatives and resources that will help you generate new ideas and possibilities. We will also suggest ways you can start thinking about the skills and attributes you will need for your future career.
