Introduction to critical thinking and writing (beginners) – 23 March 2021

< Back to Event

Aimed at Access and Level 1 students or those who are new to critical thinking and writing, this workshop covers the basics: we will look at how to use module information, taking it apart to understand the key themes for yourself, independently of the guidance you are given. We then move on to writing critically, identifying relevant information, and presenting it objectively in your own words.

Please note that this workshop is scheduled to start at 10:00am and will last 60 minutes. You will need to book a free ticket to attend this Adobe Connect Online Room event, tickets will become available about 2-3 weeks in advance of the workshop.

After the event, you can watch the recording here (click on 'view previous recordings' button). The group work and plenary are not recorded. The slides for the event will also be available.
