We begin our Freshers programme with a warm welcome from the Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor (Students). Find out about some of the exciting work the OU is doing to make the world a better place and, now that you are a part of this vibrant community, how you can get involved. The OU really values working with students, and at this session you can find out how you can make a meaningful contribution to your university by sharing your experiences and contributing to discussions in a range of ways.

Tim Blackman

Professor Tim Blackman became Vice-Chancellor of The Open University in October 2019. He was previously Vice-Chancellor of Middlesex University in London. Tim was Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research, Scholarship and Quality at the OU between 2011 and 2015.
