In this session, Joe Smith looks at how the OU has used, and may use media in distance learning. He considers both synchronous and asynchronous methods such as OU Live and the Tutor Group forums. With a panel of students and AL's the conversation will cover experiences of these mediums, how they can be used to enhance your learning, and what you need to know to engage with them. This session will appeal to all students and tutors who are involved with any of these platforms.
