Allan Mooney

Allan is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Law and Assistant Head of Student Experience in the Business School. He has knowledge and experience in all areas of HR and Organisational Learning and Development within Scottish Government, the Local Authority, Police and Health Service. 

Allan has been an AL since 2010 and is currently tutoring on two leadership modules (B329 and B208); before he was an AL at the OU he was a part-time lecturer at the City of Glasgow College.  He studied his MBA and MSC in HRM at Caledonian University and shortly afterwards started lecturing part time on CIPD programmes for HR and Learning and Development.  Allan joined the OU full time in 2021 after being the Head of Learning and Development in Forestry and Land Scotland which is an agency of the Scottish Government.
