Learning something new can be tough.  We all learn in different ways and at different speeds.  Taking an alternative approach to learning can be beneficial.  Why not come along to this Open qualifications Student Hub Live session to explore the opportunity to be playful in our learning, to view subjects and disciplines from new perspectives and discuss how we make connections that relate to our practice (the way we do things).

In this session, staff from the Open team along with Open students will discuss how they like to learn, how they learn from the people around them and the benefits of combining different strands of learning to make new connections and explore new possibilities. For law degrees we will discuss writing essays, short answer questions, and problem questions (and yes, we will mention IRAC!). For business degrees we will discuss critical thinking, academic skills and theory application. But don't just listen to one half of the broadcast - all students will find all these skills useful whatever their degree!
