Zoe Gipson

Zoe Gipson is a Senior Product Development Manager for online rooms and the Open STEM Labs in the Learning Systems team at The Open University.

She has over 18 years’ experience working at the OU. Initially as an editor working on maths and technology modules, before joining the Learning Systems team as a product development manager working on the OU’s Virtual Learning Environment tools. Initially working on OpenStudio before focusing on online tutorials and managing the use of Adobe Connect, and more recently working on Open STEM Labs. She is interested in all aspects of online tutorials that reach beyond the tools we use; how we present and deliver content and build accessibility into all online tutorials.

Zoe is a mum to three teenage girls. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, art and craft, singing, her garden, and planning the next adventure. She volunteers with local charities collecting surplus food to share in the community, and stop food going to landfill.
