Pete Turner

Pete Turner is the Head of Student Community at the OU Students Association. His team delivers loads of fun things for OU students such as Welcome Week, support for Clubs and Societies and also picking the OU’s University Challenge team! The Students Association is led by elected students provides a whole range of support, activities and opportunities for all OU students.

Before working at the Association Pete worked in local charities, as a teacher, in theatre in education and as an actor – you may have seen his feet in the opening titles of ITV’s The Bill.

While not at work Pete is a judge in international wines and spirits competitions and writes about drinks for local and national publications as well as producing fabulous wine reviews for TikTok.
