Alistair Brown

 

Dr Alistair Brown is a tutor in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, where he teaches on modules ranging from interdisciplinary Arts and Humanities at Level 1, to English Literature at levels 2 and 3. He also moderates the Arts and Humanities Induction Forum, which has given him a good sense of the excitement and uncertainty facing students who are new to the OU. His research interests include digital cultures, the creative industries and video game narratives. Most recently he’s become interested in playful learning, drawing on everything from Lego to his two long-suffering cats to engage and inspire students.
