If anyone had considered a flu or virus pandemic in their risk mitigation planning previously, they would have thought about of maybe outbreaks in recent times such as swine flu. They would not have imagined the wholescale and widereaching changes the last 18 months have seen across the world. Even beyond the health implications and very sad outcomes for so many, governments, businesses and individuals have grappled with massive change; some businesses have prospered, other businesess have struggled or failed. How does innovation help some busineses succeed against such massive adversity: affecting their supply chains, manufacturing, business relationships and more?    

This session brings to life some of the meaning for business behind the word innovation, every business can learn from this and every student, in every profession.
