Warren Carter

Warren Carter is a lecturer and staff tutor in the history of art department and his teaching specialism is in twentieth century modernism with an emphasis on public art in teh Ameicas. He is also interested in the methodologies of art history and both of these themes come together in the chapter on ‘Mexican muralism reconsidered’ in Book 4 of A344 Art and its global histories, the module which he chairs. He also contributed a unit to A112 Cultures on 'Art against power: satire and propaganda' and is also chair of A236 with a chapter on 'Modern art and the metropolis'.
