Thank you for booking a ticket to our first-ever radio broadcast event. Unfortunately, due to a number of OU staff shifting to remote working in response to government recommendations as a result of the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak, we are not able to hold the Developing your essay planning & writing event in the style it was planned. It will be rescheduled, and we'll let you know when we have a date.
However, we recognise that at times like this it is even more important to retain a sense of community, so we are pleased to announce that we have an alternative for you, online and at the same time: 1:30–2:30pm on 18 March 2020.
The Retaining focus on study while in uncertain times workshop will take place via Adobe Connect Online Room. Please use your current ticket or book one here.
You will be able to access the event using this link 15 minutes before the allocated start time. Instead of essay writing, we will address how to stay focused on study in uncertain times. We’ll look at how to respond to stressful situations and how we can take steps to feel better in ourselves. We will also look at study strategies and establishing focus, and outline the different types of support available to Open University students. The event is an opportunity to connect with others and we will have space for general study skills related questions.
