Wilfred S. Manuela Jr.

Wilfred S. Manuela Jr. is an associate professor at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati City, the financial centre of Metro Manila and the Philippines. Wilfred is involved in the design and delivery of economics and finance courses for graduate degree programs at AIM.

He teaches business economics and corporate finance. His main research interests include the air transport industry, imperfect competition and market power, and mergers and acquisitions. Wilfred received his PhD in Business Administration from the Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business of the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He has taught management courses for more than ten years at AIM, the University of the Philippines, and Ateneo de Manila University. Wilfred is the managing editor of the Journal of Management for Global Sustainability and has published in journals indexed and abstracted in the Social Sciences Citation Index® and Scopus®.
