Isobel Shelton

Isobel is a staff tutor in education (in the School of Education, Childhood and Youth Studies) and also an associate lecturer in social sciences.

She has long been a keen advocate of The Open University’s widening participation ethos and has worked on both Openings and Access modules, chairing Y032: People, work and society, as well as recently undertaking scholarship on the language of assessment with her Access colleagues. She has also been a student at the OU, studying language modules for fun and earning a Certificate in Higher Education in the process.
