Anca Seaton

I started my Open University journey in 2005, when I completed two modules and gained the Certificate in IT and Computing. The aim was to complete a BSc in IT and Computing, but over the years the final goal changed and I’m now registered for the new Combined STEM Degree.

The modules I took were in IT, Chemistry and Science (Forensic Science), and I enjoyed studying them; in February, I will be starting MST124 Essential Mathematics 1.

I got involved in the Students Association in my region (West Midlands) in 2014, and had a variety of volunteering roles, including Assembly Executive for West Midlands, graduation ceremony volunteer and residential school rep. In 2016, I was elected as one of the Area Association Reps for England. I am involved in the Induction Working Group, so I am very keen to hear from our new students, and am looking forward to the Students Association Conference this summer.
