What is it like to study with the OU?

In this session, two members of OU academic staff discuss the various ways in which students can study at the University. They will explore the study materials available to students, including the VLE (Virtual Learning Environment), and will discuss how students make the most of the support around them.

Dr Georgina Blakeley is Chair for the Level 1 Introducing the social sciences module. She carries out research on Spanish politics and is currently working on historical memory. In addition, she also works on citizen participation and urban governance.

Matt Staples joined The Open University in 1995 as an academic related project manager working in a range of areas and became a part-time tutor in 1998.
