Join the first session of our Brexit special to get an introduction to what Brexit is and a recap of the important issues so far.

 

As part of this, we’ll be exploring how Brexit links up to OU research on European politics, uneven economic development, and historical memory. The UK has not yet left the EU, but how has Brexit already changed the UK?

George Callaghan is an economist with the Open University who teaches economics with a focus on personal finance. George has done significant work on the faculty’s Brexit project.

Dr Georgina Blakeley is Chair for the Level 1 Introducing the social sciences module. She carries out research on Spanish politics and is currently working on historical memory. In addition, she also works on citizen participation and urban governance.
