In this session we will examine what we mean by academic integrity from a whole university perspective – what it means to the institution, its staff and its postgraduate and undergraduate students. Effectively the same rules apply at all levels about being honest with the information you gather, manipulate and present and conclusions you make with appropriate recognition of all that have contributed in the process.
Dean Fletcher qualified as a barrister in 2008, and then cross-qualified and practised as a solicitor from 2011. He practised in Manchester for five years before relocating to Bedfordshire, where he took a post working for a legal regulatory body.
Peter Taylor is Director of the Open Programme and a Professor of Organic Chemistry, and has been involved with the production and presentation of OU courses for over thirty years.
