This session explores the flexibility of an Open degree and looks at how to choose the right degree for you. What exactly is an Open degree, and why do some students switch to them after initially pursuing a named qualification?

David Heley

David has been an Arts tutor for 20 years, teaching at all levels of the OU, and is also director of the Day for Night Theatre Company. He graduated from the OU in the 1970s and then studied film, drama and performance at post-graduate level at Oxford and then New York University.

Helen Cooke

Helen Cooke joined the Open University Business School in 2007 on a management trainee scheme and moved to the Learning and Teaching Centre in May 2013, where she started supporting the Open Programme.
