A853 MA Philosophy part 1

In this session, Jon will be telling us about A853. The module will introduce you to graduate-level philosophy, through the study of four varied and interesting areas: the beauty of nature; a classic text in Ancient Philosophy – Plato’s Meno; the nature of consciousness; and issues surrounding global justice.

Jon Pike joined The Open University in 1998, as Staff Tutor in the South East Region. His main area of teaching is Political Philosophy, on the course AA311 Reading political philosophy: Machiavelli to Mill and on the MA in Philosophy. He is currently writing two books.
